Nana Agradaa Granted GH¢150k Bail In Second Case

The Accra Circuit Court 10 has granted self-styled evangelist Patricia Asiedua, better known as Nana Agradaa, GH150,000 bail with three sureties.

She was previously given a two-week detention on fresh charges on October 14, 2022.A fraudulent advertising and five counts of defrauding by false pretense are the allegations.

On November 15, 2022, she must appear before the court once more. She has been instructed by the court to leave her passport at the court registry in the meantime.

On October 17, 2022, Madam Asiedua received a Gh50,000 bail in a new matter at the Accra Circuit Court 9. Nevertheless, because of the case at Circuit Court 10, the former fetish priestess turned evangelist remained in detention.

To all of the allegations made against her, Nana Agradaa has entered a not guilty plea.

She has been charged with seven counts of defrauding under false pretenses and using shady TV and print adverts to seduce her victims. Since her arrest, the self-described preacher has been held back in detention twice.

Following accusations of fraud, among other things, made against her by several members of her church and the general public, Nana Agradaa was detained on Sunday, October 9.

The police said, “Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action and to assist in the investigation.”
