A former Brong Ahafo Regional Director of Education, Dr George Adjei-Henneh, has been installed Atipimhene of the Japekrom Traditional Area under the stool name Barima Adjei-Henne Aframfo.

At a ceremony characterised with pomp, he swore the oath of allegiance to the Omanhene of the traditional area, Okatakyie Aturu Nkonkonkyia II.

The new chief’s long service to his community is not limited to the field of education.
Among others, he has taken up many responsibilities, including assembly member, and also chaired the Japekrom Area Council.
